  • Joint Base Lewis-McChord

    Named after Meriwether Lewis of the famed Lewis and Clark expedition, Fort Lewis was born out of World War I. Joint Base Lewis-McChord supports more than 40,000 service members, including active duty, National Guard and reserve members, approximately 14,000 full-time civilian employees — including Department of Defense contractors and other civilian employees — and more than 90,000 family members, veterans and retirees.

  • Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst

    Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst supports over 45,000 active-duty, guard, reserve, family members and civilian personnel. The base is located in a wooded, rural area, which is the least densely populated area in the state.

  • Joint Base Pearl Harbor – Hickam

    Pearl Harbor Naval Station and Hickam Air Force Base have grown up together around what the native Hawaiians called Wai’momi on Oahu’s south shore. Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam (JBPHH) combines two historic bases into a single joint installation to support both Air Force and Navy missions, along with our tenant commands, service members and their families. 

  • Joint Base San Antonio (Lackland, Randolph, Sam Houston)

    Joint Base San Antonio consists of 46,577 people. Of these, 24,702 are active-duty members. Another 10,131 are DoD civilian employees. The remaining 11,744 are contract employees and family members. Lackland is comprised of the 37th Training Wing, National Guard 149th Fighter Wing, the 59th Medical Wing, the Air Force Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Agency, the 24th Air Force Wing, 67th Network Warfare Wing, Cryptologic Systems Group, and the National Security Agency plus 70 additional associate units.

  • Joint Region Marianas – Andersen AFB

    The Joint Region Marianas – Andersen AFB (AFB), Guam, was opened as North Field in 1944, and was primarily used as a staging base in the Pacific during WWII. Later it was renamed after Brigadier General James R. Andersen, former Chief of Staff for the Army Air Force, Pacific, who was lost at sea returning to Honolulu in 1945.

  • Joint Region Marianas – Naval Base Guam

    Joint Region Marianas was established in 2009 as the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force on Guam combined headquarters at Nimitz Hill. Today, under Joint Region Marianas, U.S. Naval Base Guam and Andersen Air Force base each maintain commanding officers who oversee their respective missions.

  • Kadena AB

    Kadena Air Base is located in Okinawa City, Okinawa, Japan. Kadena itself is sprawled across some 4,900 acres with an adjoining munitions area of 6,300 acres.

  • Kalkar – U.S. Air Force Element

    The USAF element at Kalkar is a small installation currently has about 27 military members, one US civilian, and one civilian German national employee.

  • Keesler AFB

    Located on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, the 81st Training Wing is host to 2nd Air Force, the 403rd Wing (AF Reserve) and the single largest employer on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Keesler trains more than 28,000 students annually with an average daily student load of more than 2,700.

  • Kirtland Air Force Base

    Kirtland Air Force Base, located in the high desert of north-central New Mexico, occupies a majority of southeast Albuquerque. There are many high-tech jobs in the area with Sandia National Laboratories and the Air Force Research Laboratories. 

  • Kleine Brogel Air Base

    Kleine Brogel Air Base, home of the Belgian Air Force 10th Wing Tactical and the 701st Munitions Support Squadron, is located in the province of Limburg, Belgium. The 701st is divided into five distinct flights consisting of maintenance, operations, communications, custody, and mission support.

  • Kunsan AB

    The 8th Fighter Wing is the host unit at Kunsan Air Base, and is assigned to Seventh Air Force, headquartered at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea. Osan Air Base is a United States military air base located in Osan, South Korea. The base is located 4.7 miles southwest of the town of Osan, for which it is named, and 40 miles south of Seoul, the capital city. Prior to the invasion of the Republic of Korea by the North Korean communists in 1950, the area consisted of several tiny farming villages near the hillsides and a large number of rice paddie areas where the runway now lies.

  • Lajes Field

    The 65th Air Base Wing is the American unit stationed at Lajes Field, Terceira Island, Azores, Portugal. The wing provides base and en route support for Department of Defense, allied nations and other authorized aircraft in transit.

  • Little Rock AFB

    Little Rock AFB is a United States Air Force Air Station located in Little Rock, Arkansas. It was established on September 9, 1952 and is located about 25 miles northeast of Little Rock, Arkansas. It has two wings, the 384th Bombardment Wing (BMW) and 70th Reconnaissance Wing.

  • Los Angeles AFB

  • Luke AFB

  • MacDill AFB

    MacDill Air Force Base is an Air Mobility Command (AMC) base, capable of rapidly projecting air-refueling power anywhere in the world. Organized into four groups to carry out a two-fold mission of air refueling and airlift support to the two Unified Commands based at MacDill. MacDill is home to the United States Central Command and United States Special Operations Command and 51 other tenant units.

  • Malmstrom Air Force Base
